What mounting hardware do you use?Updated 17 hours ago

HIDEit Mounts are designed to work with readily available standard hardware so you can easily find extras or replacements at any local hardware store.

• Drywall installation: We use #8 x 1.25" screws with wall anchors rated for 25 lbs each.

• VESA mounting: Many mounts include M4 and/or M6 screws for attaching to the back of TVs and monitors.

• PlayStation mounts: Our PS5 and PS4 mounts include an M3-0.5 x 20mm thumbscrew to secure the console to the mount.

• Universal mounts: Come with thumbnuts for a secure hold that can be tightened by hand or with a tool. Customers can replace them with wingnuts from a hardware store.

• Uni-VESA Adapter: The kit includes locking washers for extra stability — these are standard hardware store parts if you ever need extras.

⚠️ If your installation surface requires a different length or type of screw, always choose one with equal or greater strength than our included hardware.

Pro tip: Keep the included hardware for initial install, then store any extras in a labeled bag for future use.
