Nope. We’ve built an entire company around a product that actually destroys devices and game consoles. We’re kidding. Yes, the mounts are safe if installed correctly (which isn’t hard to do).

If you're nervous about your device overheating, this long explanation is for you!

Our mounts won't make your device overheat, but there are a couple of factors to consider here. First, you have to think about the heat from the devices, then you have to think about the heat from the TV. Having the devices mounted behind the TV actually allows the hot air from the devices to rise and dissipate much easier than a traditional media cabinet (which locks in hot air). Most modern TVs are energy efficient and don’t put out too much hot air, so TV heat isn’t an issue.
