Not really. The Original Xbox One is the only console that cannot play discs while vertical. If you want to mount your OG Xbox vertically, you’ll have to switch to downloaded content or go vertical at your own risk. All other consoles can be played while vertical with no issue.

And no, your discs won't get scratched if you mount your console vertically.
